Karwar: The Janashikshana Samsthe is providing training to literates and educated individuals to help them become self-reliant. District School Education Department’s Deputy Director Lata Nayak emphasized the importance of utilizing this opportunity to become self-reliant.
She inaugurated the “Skill Development Seminar” held at the NGO Auditorium in Karwar, which was conducted for the participants in the Janashikshana Samsthe. During the event, she distributed certificates to the seminar participants and encouraged them to acquire skills to empower themselves and others.
Ullas Nayak, the Vice President of Bapuji Gramin Vikas Samiti, presided over the program and stressed the need for skill development to achieve progress in the country.
Revathi Sudhakar, Lead Bank Manager, emphasized that being self-employed is superior to being an employee. Siddak Deputy Director Shivanand Yaligar highlighted the urgent need for skill training for life improvement.
Certificates were distributed to the participants who underwent various skill development programs during 2022-23. The Director of Janashikshana Samsthe, Shashikant Nayak, welcomed the participants and delivered a brief speech. The program was compered by Prakash Talekar, Shubhangini Shirodkar was present in the programme.
The program commenced with a welcome song by Reetu and her team. Hundreds of JSS participants who received certificates for various skill development programs were honored at the event.
